StEP Ignite is a Student Entrepreneurship Programme that brings teams of entrepreneurial students together to develop innovative business ideas, delivered by Oxford University Innovation and Oxford Edge, supported by EnSpire.
Programme Overview
Launch stage programme, StEP Ignite, is a Student Entrepreneurship Programme run by Oxford University Innovation and Oxford Edge, bringing teams of entrepreneurial students together to develop innovative business ideas over the summer vacation. At the end of the programme, all teams will pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges who will select a winner.
The winning team will receive a cash prize to spend on taking the first steps in setting up the business they pitched. In addition you’ll receive a package of support from OUI and will be partnered with business & technology mentors to help make the dream a reality.
The core programme runs for four weeks over the summer vacation, with an optional four-week extension for those who want to take their projects further. Teams collaborate to refine ideas and pitch to a panel of judges, with prizes, mentoring, and tailored support available. Participants can also continue their journeys through the OUI Startup incubator, building ventures with lasting impact. Bursaries are available, with thanks to Motoreasy for their contribution towards widening access and supporting entrepreneurial talent.
Who Can Apply?
StEP Ignite is for any current University of Oxford student who wants to see if they have what it takes to be an entrepreneur.
